Most experienced landlords have horror stories about tenants of years past. If Baker does not comply with this order, he could face criminal charges, even though he was not directly involved in the distribution of Schedule I controlled substances that was taking place on the rental property.

Property owners can face consequences such as fines, confiscation of the property, and, in extreme cases, criminal charges.
